If you would like to be considered for the Doric Wilson Independent Playwright Award, please read the guidelines below, then you can submit your play, a bio or resume, as well as an artistic statement, by going to the How to Submit page.

The submission window is April 30 to May 30, 2021 OR until we reach 125 submissions.

To submit yourself for this award you should be:

• A working playwright in the independent theater in the New York City area.

• Someone whose indie theater career is also supportive of other artists.

• Here's an FAQ on preparing your submission and more about the process.

• If you are unable to use the form, please email us so we can work out another way to submit.

• There is no entry fee to submit your work.
